Raymond Lee Jewelers of Boca Raton, FL was founded in 1983. Since its inception, the jewelry store has continued to offer top-notch service and values to its customers for pre-owned watches. One of the many models carried is the Rolex King Midas - one of three limited edition watches ever produced by Rolex.

King Midas was first made available in 1964, and was based upon the Greek myth of King Midas, who was known for turning everything into gold that he touched. The box in which this watch was contained was very sophisticated and had many Greek patterns and images, reminscent of ancient Greek culture. Inside the outer box, the watch was protected by a Greek-inspired wooden urn box. In 1964, the King Midas was the heaviest gold watch that could be purchased. The movement of the watch was mechanical and the band contained an invisible double lock clasp. The dial was overly simple - it only contained 2 watch hands, the Rolex crown at the 12 o' clock position, and the MIDAS designation written in Greek letters towards the bottom. Nevertheless, this watch became extremely rare for its uncommon production and its elegance.
