Raymond Lee Jewelers of Boca Raton, FL was founded in 1983. Since its inception, the jewelry store has offered superior customer service and outstanding values for its luxury preowned watches. One of the many models held in the store is the Rolex Milgauss. This particular model was introduced in 1956 with reference number 6451. The watch was designed as antimagnetic timepiece for workers in power plants, medical facilities, labs, or other places where electromagnetic fields could interfere with the functionality of a watch. The watch is equipped with an amagnetic alloy hairspring and a movement encased by a Faraday cage.

The first two Milgauss models (6451 and 1019) were discontinued in 1988, but in 2007 Rolex decided to reintroduce the Milgauss with model 116400. Now only available in 904L polished steel the watch case measures 41 mm. One of the defining features of a Milgauss is the orange, lightning bolt second-hand.
